Scopely has been named number one on PocketGamer.biz's 2026 list of the world's Top 50 Mobile Game Makers, according to a company announcement published on October 21, 2026. It is the second time in the last three years that the company has held the top position, after previously topping the list in 2024, and Scopely has now appeared on the ranking for 11 consecutive years.

The ranking weighs game innovation, growth and live operations expertise, among other factors. PocketGamer.biz pointed to Scopely's mix of long-running games, newer hits and partnerships with creative teams, and said the company had new hit games, successful mergers and acquisitions and innovation, placing it at the centre of industry trends.

The honour lands in what Scopely describes as a milestone-filled 15th anniversary year. The year began with the announcement that Scopely's games had passed 15 billion dollars in lifetime revenue and more than 150 billion hours of playtime.

The ranking also follows other recent recognition for the company. Scopely was named a Fast Company Best Workplace for Innovators for the second straight year, and it was the most-honoured company at the 2026 Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards, winning 12 honours including Best Publisher for the fifth time and fourth consecutive year, and Company Culture Champion in that category's first year.
