Real-world stadium advertising is coming to Madden NFL. Electronic Arts and the NFL announced the Madden NFL Virtual Stadium Sponsorship Program on October 27, 2026, a new initiative that lets official sponsors of all 32 NFL clubs and league partners carry their real stadium presence into the matching stadiums inside the game, on console and mobile.
The Philadelphia Eagles are the first club on board. Pond Lehocky, a work injury law firm and an Eagles partner, will be the first brand to take part, with its signage at Lincoln Financial Field now appearing in the Eagles' stadium in Madden NFL. EA says the program is designed to make in-game venues more authentic to what fans see on game day, with signage built into the stadium itself rather than interrupting gameplay.
Behind the scenes, EA SPORTS built technology that maps physical signage directly into each in-game stadium, supported by creative templates and campaign execution. The idea is a one-to-one reflection of real displays as more brands join, so a sponsor's presence in a virtual venue mirrors its presence in the real one.
The scale on offer is considerable. EA says fans play more than 2 billion Madden NFL games annually across console and mobile, which it equates to 23,000 NFL seasons every day, giving club partners significant visibility inside the stadiums where fans actually play. Participation is limited, though: subject to certain exclusions, only confirmed NFL club and league sponsors are eligible.
For the Eagles, the appeal is familiarity. The club describes Lincoln Financial Field as one of the loudest and most recognizable home-field environments in the NFL, and says its fans expect Madden NFL to capture that atmosphere, including partners like Pond Lehocky who are already part of the game day experience in Philadelphia. Other clubs' sponsors can now follow the same path, bringing their own stadium signage into the virtual game.
