Embracer Plans to Spin Off Fellowship Entertainment as Its Own Listed Company

OFFICIAL Written by GPN · Nov 1, 2026, 8:25 PM ET · Fellowship Entertainment · Gaming

Embracer Group has announced the next step in its reshaping of the company: the planned spin-off of Fellowship Entertainment as a standalone publicly listed business. In an open letter from the chair of the board, Embracer said the intention is for Fellowship to list on the Nasdaq main market in Stockholm during calendar year 2027.

Fellowship would operate as a single business segment with its own strategy and business plan, rather than as one part of a larger group. Embracer said the main reason for the move is focus: giving one management team a clear brief to get the most out of its intellectual properties, their communities and the studios behind them.

That brief covers some of the best-known names in Embracer's catalogue. Fellowship will concentrate on active stewardship of premium franchises including Tomb Raider, Metro, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Dead Island, Darksiders and Remnant, according to the company. It is a line-up that spans long-running action, role-playing and survival series, and it explains why so much of Embracer's forward-looking game news now sits under the Fellowship banner.

Embracer also set a cadence for what comes after the spin-off. It said Fellowship will have at least two major game releases with full economics per year starting in its 2027/28 financial year, supported by a multi-year pipeline of new games. For players, that is a promise of a steadier rhythm of big releases from those franchises, rather than long gaps between tentpole titles.

The spin-off is part of a broader separation story at Embracer, which has already spun off other parts of the group. The Fellowship plan does not by itself announce a new game, but it does clarify who will be responsible for several of the company's most important series in the years ahead, and on what kind of schedule.
