Fortnite Sets Sail November 1 as Treasure Hunters Brings One Piece to Crossbones Isle

Fortnite is trading its usual island for open water. In an announcement dated October 30, 2026, Epic confirmed that the hunt begins on November 1, when players explore a new island, fight with One Piece powers and search for mysterious loot, including what lies inside Captain X's mega chest.

The new battleground is Crossbones Isle, an 80-player island crossed by cannons that launch players across the map. One Piece locations Arlong Park and Windmill Village sit alongside it, and the season's powers come straight from the series: players can jump into action as Luffy with the Gum-Gum Fruit or cut through opponents with Zoro's Three Sword Style.

Rather than arriving all at once, the season's crews roll in week by week. Each new captain arrives with their own crew and point of interest, with the Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky leading the way, followed by Lil Uzi Vert, Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto. A$AP Rocky also gets his own battleship point of interest, the $.$. Rocky, where players can rain rockets from above with A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket.

The calendar is just as structured. So-called Captain's Days drop new weapons, Sprites and more onto the map, starting with the season on November 1 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time and continuing on November 7, 12, 14 and 21. The shop schedule follows the same rhythm: Luffy, Nami and Usopp arrive at season launch, A$AP Rocky follows on November 5 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, Zoro, Sanji and the Chopper Sidekick land November 7, Lil Uzi Vert arrives November 12, Buggy on November 13, and Kasane Teto and Cap'n Hatsune Miku on November 14. Epic also tells players to keep Saturday, December 5 open for an unforgettable Chapter 7 end event.
