A Quieter Window for Avaris: Edge of Memories Moves to December 3

NACON announced on October 15, 2026, that Edge of Memories will now launch on December 3, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, shifting the game out of its previous November slot.

The publisher framed the move as a search for breathing room. The end of the year is crowded, it said, and a quieter period should let players discover the game at their own pace and take it in properly, rather than having it squeezed between bigger releases.

Edge of Memories is a third-person action role-playing game set on the continent of Avaris, a world shaped by a spreading affliction known as the Corrosion. Players follow Eline, a young nomad, leading battles alongside allies in an effort to save a world facing extinction.

The announcement was accompanied by new images showing the varied landscapes of Avaris, and NACON stressed that the game is designed to be accessible both to longtime fans of the genre and to newcomers.

Players waiting for the full release will not have to wait entirely empty-handed. An updated demo will be available on Steam in early November, giving players a revised taste of the game ahead of its December launch.
