AION 2 Players Log More Than 108 Million Hours in 18 Days

In the 18 days since NC launched the global version of AION 2, players logged more than 108.2 million hours in the fantasy world of Atreia, according to a new infographic published by the company. The figures cover the period from early access on September 30 through the public launch on October 5, 2026 on Steam and PURPLE, NC's own platform.

The infographic also counts more than 6.3 million characters created, led by the Gladiator as the most-played class, followed by the Chanter and the Sorcerer, and 21.1 million dungeon clears. NC said the game has passed 400,000 concurrent players since launch.

Spectators have been watching too. AION 2 has drawn more than 35.6 million hours watched on Twitch since early access began, and Steam Charts ranked it the fourth most-watched game on Twitch from October 5 to 12.

AION 2 is NC's open-world MMORPG sequel, available free to play on PC through Steam and PURPLE. Its opening weeks, on NC's own numbers, place it among the biggest launches of 2026.
