Marvel Rivals Opens a Five-Room Mystery With Night of Illusions

Marvel Rivals has a new mystery to solve. NetEase Games released the game's October 29, 2026 patch with no server downtime, headlined by Night of Illusions, a limited-time event that runs until December 31, 2026.

Night of Illusions sends players into a strange house at the centre of a bizarre ritual. A mysterious man, fixated on a witch he believes is named after the number four, sets out to sacrifice four monsters, and monster hunter Elsa Bloodstone steps in to unravel what is really happening.

Gameplay-wise, the event is built around exploration and problem-solving rather than straight combat. Players work through five mysterious rooms, solving a series of puzzles to claim limited-time rewards that include rare Gallery Cards, Units, Sprays and more.

The same update refreshes the in-game store from October 30. The Winter Soldier Celestial Soldier bundle is available until November 27, and new Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls looks arrive for Storm and Iron Man, including an Ultimate Ability visual effect for Storm.

With the event running through the end of the year, players have plenty of time to work through all five rooms, but the store items carry much tighter windows, so anyone eyeing the new bundles should not leave them until December.
