The next chapter of the Battle Operation series is officially on the move. Bandai Namco opened the official website for Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 3 on October 28, 2026, presenting it as the latest installment in the long-running team battle series.

The game is an online multiplayer team battle title built around the many mobile suits of the Mobile Suit Gundam series. Players take command of both their mobile suits and their infantry on the battlefield, working as a team to come out on top.

A new system called SP Skills sits at the heart of the combat. Bandai Namco describes these skills as a way to turn the tide of a battle, giving squads a tool to swing a fight back in their favour at a decisive moment.

The official specification list confirms the game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Steam, supports between 1 and 18 players, and is classed as a team battle action game. It will be free-to-play, with some paid content included.

No release date has been set yet, and the rating is still to be determined. Players will need an internet connection plus either a PlayStation Network account or a Steam account to play.
