Something to Believe In: Stellaris Expansion Willpower Dated for November 23

OFFICIAL Written by GPN · Nov 1, 2026, 8:38 PM ET · Stellaris · Gaming

Willpower, the next major expansion for Stellaris, will launch on PC on November 23, 2026, Paradox Interactive and co-developer Abrakam announced on October 21, 2026.

The expansion is built around belief: what a galaxy-spanning civilisation holds to, and how those convictions shape its future. That theme gives players a new lens on the long game of exploration, diplomacy and conflict that has defined Stellaris since its launch.

Willpower is included in the Season 10 Expansion Pass, and players without the pass can pre-purchase it separately for a suggested retail price of $24.99, £20.99 or €24.99.

It will arrive alongside the 4.6 Corona Borealis update, which brings a range of bug fixes to the base game. Launching an expansion and a substantial update together is a familiar rhythm for Stellaris, giving both new and returning players a reason to start a fresh campaign.

For a game that has grown through years of expansions, Willpower is another chance to reshape a familiar galaxy, this time by putting faith and conviction at the centre of the story players tell about their empire.
