Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Turns 10 With a Festival That Pays Forward to Xenoverse 3

A decade after it first invited players to build their own time-travelling fighter, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is marking the milestone with a worldwide send-off event. Bandai Namco announced the Final Festival of Universes in an official post dated October 25, 2026, with the celebration getting underway on October 30.

The festival is built around the companions who have travelled alongside players through the game. Participants can raise their camaraderie level with Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time, or Fu, and doing so unlocks special illustrations tied to those characters.

Scarce gear is also coming back into circulation for the event, and the rewards economy gets a major boost: players will earn 25 times the usual number of Star Coins, making it far easier to trade them in for prizes. Taking part can also earn a brand-new Gi made for the occasion, along with a commemorative medal.

Those two keepsakes matter beyond Xenoverse 2 itself. Bandai Namco says that owning either item will let players unlock special items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, depending on which item they hold, by linking their Bandai Namco ID once the sequel becomes available in 2027.

The anniversary also brings a free update on October 27, adding new Login Bonus Rewards and Special Costumes, plus an update to the Gallery of Time that is unlocked by purchasing the FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4 downloadable content. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
