Rockstar Games has released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, posting it on its Newswire on October 15, 2026 as the game heads toward its November 19 arrival. The trailer is the final major video showcase before launch, and it pairs new footage of the game's world with the debut of a brand new song from its score composers.
The story at the heart of the trailer follows Jason and Lucia, two protagonists who have always known the odds are stacked against them. When an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, caught in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida. Forced to rely on each other more than ever if they are to make it out alive, the pair anchor a trailer set firmly in Vice City, USA.
Music takes a starring role in the launch trailer. It features the debut of Flower in a Hurricane, a new track from original score composers Justice featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard. The song later became one of the headline tracks on the game's original score album, linking the trailer directly to the wider music plans Rockstar announced later in October.
For players counting down to launch, the trailer serves as both a story refresher and a confirmation that the release date stands. Grand Theft Auto VI arrives November 19, and the launch trailer is available to watch now through Rockstar's official channels.
