Clash Royale Fast-Forwards Its November Balance Patch So Pros Can Adapt Before the World Finals

Clash Royale's seasonal November balance changes are not waiting for November. Supercell has folded them into a mid-October update instead, with the second wave landing on October 19, so that players have time to adjust before the Clash Royale League World Finals in early November. The move means the competitive scene heads into its biggest event of the year on numbers everyone has already had weeks to practise with.

The October 19 wave trims the decks that have been hardest to crack. Cannon Cart's damage drops from 212 to 202 and its mass doubles from 3 to 6, and Goblins can no longer shove it around, which takes some sting out of Mortar shells. Dart Goblin's damage falls from 151 to 143 as the common thread in the strongest spell-bait lists, Minion Giant's damage drops from 168 to 153, and Rune Giant's enchantments now fade just half a second after she is defeated instead of lingering for 5 seconds, ending the synergy that carried her into Ranked alongside Minion Giant and Little Prince.

The same wave hands out buffs where the game felt sluggish. Hero Electro Wizard no longer suffers an attack delay after using his ability, which had been causing the ability to fail outright. Electro Dragon's first hit speeds up from 0.7 to 0.5 seconds, making him harder to distract on defence, Flying Machine's damage rises from 171 to 179, and Void's 2-to-4 target damage climbs from 296 to 307, enough for a single hit to remove Archers and Firecracker. Skeleton Barrel's death damage is unified at 163 for both forms, down from 192 for the Evolution and up from 145 for the base card, and Skeletons now spread from 0.4 to 0.5 tiles and always split when placed on middle tiles. Supercell says no further balance changes will arrive at the start of the November season, though more tweaks may follow after the World Finals.

Underneath all of that sits the bigger October 6 pass. Its sharpest cut hit Hero Ice Wizard, whose freeze damage collapsed from 89 to 46, so his freeze no longer clears Skeletons and Bats. Evolved Cannon's barrage fell from 281 to 261, Barbarian Barrel from 232 to 215, and Elixir Collector became a slower investment, with its lifetime stretching from 1 minute 33 seconds to 1 minute 50 and its production slowing from 13 to 15 seconds. Minion Giant's hit speed slowed from 1.5 to 1.7 seconds and Royal Ghost lost hitpoints, dropping from 1210 to 1152. On the buff side, Goblin Barrel strikes faster, Goblin Drill deals spawn damage at Crown Towers, Lava Hound hits much harder at 71 damage despite a slower swing, and Ram Rider, Wall Breakers, X-Bow, Monk and Three Musketeers all picked up damage, speed or staying power. Golden Knight was reworked to 168 damage with a shorter 5-tile dash, and a pair of bug fixes corrected Evolved Elite Barbarians' spear range and a small Royal Ghost damage inconsistency. As usual, the numbers are scaled at Level 11.

The net effect is a meta that leans a little less on Mortar walls and spell-bait pressure and a little more on underused win conditions. For casual players that means fresher ladder matchups; for the pros heading to the World Finals, it means no last-minute surprises, just a settled set of numbers to build around.
