Behaviour Helped Build Gears of War: E-Day Over Five Years With The Coalition

Behaviour Interactive is celebrating a milestone of its own. The company marked the October 6, 2026 launch of Gears of War: E-Day, a project it spent five years helping to build alongside The Coalition.

The partnership began with a shared ambition to realise the next chapter of the Gears saga. Behaviour contributed across the production, with work spanning technical art, engineering and tool development, supporting the game's move to a larger, more detailed world.

That work also extended to the game's multiplayer and wider technical foundations. Behaviour helped shape the systems that sit behind the experience, from the tools used by developers to the engineering that keeps the action running smoothly.

For Behaviour, the launch is a statement of its expanding role in major productions. The studio, best known for Dead by Daylight, has increasingly lent its teams to large-scale collaborations, and Gears of War: E-Day stands as one of its most substantial contributions to date.

The announcement also sits alongside Behaviour's other reveals, including a Blade Runner immersive experience planned for North America in 2027, as the company continues to broaden what it does beyond its own games.
