FarmVille 2: Country Escape has turned its players into a force for good with a new collaboration with UK animal charity Blue Cross. Announced by Zynga on October 14, 2026, the Pet Pals event runs through November 10, timed to lead into Guinea Pig Awareness Week, which takes place from October 26 to 30.

The event asks players to care for their own in-game pet guinea pig, unlocking tasty nibbles to feed and level up their fluffy friend. Nibbles are earned by getting stuck into everyday farm life, including crafting, foraging and obtaining keys, and hitting feeding milestones unlocks in-game rewards along the way.

Every nibble fed also counts toward something bigger. All players' feeding progress feeds a shared global progress bar, and if the community reaches the donation goal, Zynga will make a donation to Blue Cross to fund pet welfare initiatives including veterinary care, rehoming and pet food banks.

It is the second animal-welfare tie-in in Zynga's recent run, following FarmVille 3's kitten rescue collaboration earlier in the year, and it gives Country Escape players a way to support real animals in need simply by tending to their virtual ones.
