GPN is funded by display ads and, where relevant, affiliate links. It has no membership and no paywall.

How ads are shown

• Every ad slot is labelled ADVERTISEMENT.
• Ads are never presented as news, never placed inside a story as if they were part of it, and never allowed to change GPN's coverage.
• No pop-ups, no interstitials, no sticky bottom ads, and no auto-play video ads are used.
• Homepage slots (prototype): top leaderboard, underneath Watch, in-feed rectangle, bottom leaderboard.

Sponsored content

Any paid placement will be labelled SPONSORED, kept out of Top Stories, and will not influence reporting. Undisclosed paid placement is not used.

Ad networks and cookies

No live network ad code runs today. Before any network ad code runs, GPN shows a consent banner on your first visit, and advertising cookies run only if you accept them — change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer bar. When Google AdSense goes live, it may set advertising cookies such as IDE (ad personalization and measurement) and preference/security cookies such as NID. The house ads in the existing slots are plain images or videos with a link and set no advertising cookies. See Privacy Policy.
