Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026. GPN — Game Patch Notes is a public gaming and tech news aggregate. No account, login, or membership is required to read it.
What we collect
- Reading the site: no account, no name, no email is required.
- Reactions and bookmarks: in the prototype these are stored in your own browser only. In production, reaction counts may be stored server-side in aggregate, without identifying you.
- Analytics: aggregate, anonymised visit counts may be used to understand which stories readers like, but analytics cookies run only if you accept them in the consent banner. No sale of personal data.
- Contact form: if you send a message from the Support page, GPN stores the name, email (if you give one), topic, and message so the owner can read and reply. Messages are not shared or sold.
- Ads (when live): network ad code loads only after you accept advertising in the consent banner on your first visit, and advertising cookies run only if you accept them — change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer bar. When Google AdSense goes live, it may set advertising cookies (such as IDE, used for ad personalization and measurement) and preference/security cookies (such as NID). See Advertising.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, we do not require an account to read news, and we do not collect payment information — there is no store, no checkout, and no membership on GPN.
Links to other sites
Every story links out to its original publisher. Those sites have their own privacy policies; GPN is not responsible for them.
Contact

Aggregate analytics
GPN counts page views in totals only — by page, day, device type, browser, operating system, language, country (from Cloudflare when live, otherwise unknown), and referrer. No IP addresses are stored, no visitor cookies are used, no per-visitor records are kept, and age or gender are not collected or inferred, because GPN has no accounts and those details are not observable here.
