November's PlayStation Plus Lineup Mixes Zombies, Lara Croft, and Deckbuilding

PlayStation has revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for November, and the trio covers zombie-slaying action, classic adventure, and deckbuilding strategy. Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, and Monster Train 2 will all be available to play from Tuesday, November 3 through Monday, November 30.

Dead Island 2 drops players into HELL-A, a version of Los Angeles overrun by mutated zombies. The game pairs an open-ended RPG structure with brutal melee combat and an expansive arsenal of improvised zombie-slaying weapons, plus quests and eccentric survivors scattered across iconic LA locations. It can be played alone or in online three-player co-op, and it is available on both PS5 and PS4.

The second game in the lineup is a remastered collection of the Tomb Raider Darkness Trilogy, bundling The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness. Players can switch between the original polygonal models and the remastered graphics at any time, making it an easy way to revisit three classic Lara Croft adventures. It is also available on PS5 and PS4.

Rounding out the month is Monster Train 2, a single-player deckbuilding roguelite exclusive to PS5 in this lineup. Players command clans formed from an uneasy alliance of former angels and demons, battling the Titans who have seized control of Heaven. With five new clans to choose from, three vertical levels to defend on each train, and a constant loop of recruiting units and upgrading cards, it is the most strategic pick of the three.

Members still have a short window on the October games as well. F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 can be added to libraries until Monday, November 2, before the November trio takes over.
