Google Fitbit Edge fitness tracker hits shelves

OFFICIAL Written by GPN · Nov 3, 2026, 12:29 AM ET · Google Fitbit Edge · Tech

Google's latest fitness tracker is now on shelves. The Google Fitbit Edge went on sale on October 30, and Google describes it as a tracker built to move between the workday and the workout. The headline change is the screen: Google calls it the largest and brightest display on a Fitbit tracker so far, paired with a new screen design meant to be readable at a glance. Physical side buttons return for easier controls, and the body is sculpted to contour to the wrist, with stylish accessories on offer. On compatibility, the Edge works with most phones running Android 11 or higher and Apple iOS 16.4 or higher, and it requires a Google Account, the Google Health app and an internet connection. Some features need a Google Health Premium subscription, sold separately, and Google notes the tracker is not intended for medical purposes.
