Razer Mako X speakers bring End of Abyss sound and light to the desk

Razer has teamed up with Section 9 Interactive to tie its new Mako X desktop speakers to the sci-fi action-adventure End of Abyss. Announced on October 30, the collaboration is built around the idea that sound cues matter in the game's abandoned underground complex, where a distant echo or a sudden warning can mean the difference between escaping and being caught. The Mako X is a compact 2.0-channel speaker system designed to deliver fuller sound without taking over the desk. Its custom-tuned 2.75-inch full-range drivers are joined by built-in passive radiators for deeper bass, aimed at carrying everything from the low hum of dormant machinery to sudden warning signals. Lighting is the other half of the pitch. With gameplay-reactive Razer Chroma RGB, in-game moments such as explosions, reloads and taking damage trigger lighting effects across compatible Razer devices, with the Mako X's RGB underglow extending those effects across the setup. In End of Abyss, players explore an underground complex where danger can come from any direction, and Razer positions the speakers as a way to hear threats more clearly and pinpoint where they are coming from.
