PlayStation's annual Black Friday sale is about to begin on the PlayStation Store, and this year it starts early. The promotion opens on Wednesday, November 4, and runs through Monday, November 30, covering PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PS VR2 games, expansions and downloadable content.

The headline figure is discounts of up to 75% off, across thousands of titles. PlayStation has not published the full list in advance: the individual discounts, and the complete range of games included, will only be revealed on the PlayStation Store once the sale goes live.

The sale is not a single fixed set of offers for the whole month. It refreshes at midnight PST, GMT and JST on November 16, and some deals will end earlier, on November 20, with replacement offers taking their place. PlayStation also warns that promotion details and percentage discounts may differ by region, so players should check the store page for their own region's prices.

For anyone planning a purchase, the practical message is simple: the sale starts November 4, the deepest discounts reach 75%, and the catalogue changes midway through, so a game on offer in the first half may not still be discounted in the second.
