Apple's redesigned Health app is opening up to millions more people, expanding language support to global English, Chinese in Simplified and Traditional, French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
Built with Apple Intelligence at its core, the redesigned app adapts to each person's health metrics across iPhone and iPad. A new Insights tab pulls together timely summaries spanning heart, sleep, readiness, fitness, vitals and cycle tracking, while a For You section offers recommendations shaped by daily habits — such as guidance on adjusting a wind-down routine after consecutive nights of interrupted sleep. Educational videos and articles from Health app clinical experts sit alongside the data.
A new Longevity tab looks at the long term, analysing heart health, sleep, mental wellbeing, movement, metabolic health, hearing and nutrition. At its centre is Health Age, which turns Apple Watch data — including VO2 max, resting heart rate, sleep and heart rate variability — into a measure of how the body is tracking against chronological age, with clinical lab data such as A1c and LDL cholesterol able to enrich the picture. The update also adds at-home movement evaluations: using an iPhone camera and Apple Watch, users can measure flexibility, strength, balance, movement mechanics and VO2 max with real-time audio and visual feedback, running entirely on device with no video ever recorded, stored or shared.
The redesigned Health app is available in the iOS 27.3 developer beta today and will roll out as a free software update later this year, with Apple saying it will keep adding languages.
