Respawn has shipped a quick Apex Legends hotfix focused on Crypto, cutting his drone recall time and fixing two bugs.

Crypto

Drone recall time has been shortened from 6 seconds to 0.7 seconds. Respawn says it is continuing to monitor match data and player feedback surrounding Crypto's state following his Season 31 rework, and that some aspects missed the mark, especially for Crypto mains. This change is one it can make quickly, while more Crypto changes that require a full client update are planned and should be released soon.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where using an ordnance while piloting Crypto's drone would crash the game. Stopped an exploit that allowed players to use excessive Evac Towers.
