Modern Warfare 4's Season 1 Battle Pass is built around a simple promise: 100+ rewards on a 100-tier track, with a new catch-up system that keeps players on pace even if they start late. BlackCell returns with its own operator, weapons and DMZ perks.
Battle Pass
The Season 1 Battle Pass costs 1,100 COD Points, or 2,400 COD Points as a bundle with 20 Tier Skip Tokens. Owners get a 10% Battle Pass XP boost for the whole season and earn tiers by playing Multiplayer, DMZ or Warzone. A new auto catch-up system automatically brings players who fall behind up to the reward matching the current day of the season, up to day 50, though it requires the paid Battle Pass.
Instant rewards for any Battle Pass owner include up to 1,100 COD Points back, the Downpour Operator Skin for Blix, the Fortune's Favor FiNN LMG Weapon Blueprint, the Happy Boom Frag Grenade skin, the Killing Demon Weapon Sticker and a DMZ Ballistic Gel Armor Kit survival kit. Tier Skip Tokens let Bundle owners grab rewards up to 10 tiers ahead, and BlackCell users up to 20 tiers ahead.
BlackCell
BlackCell includes the Battle Pass, 20 Tier Skip Tokens and all earnable BlackCell content. Its headline is XERO, a new BlackCell Agent with no official record before a classified conditioning program, whose Cowled and Adder skins unlock through challenges, along with Occultus and Exitium variants of the Perimeter Lance M4 Assault Rifle Mastercraft Blueprint. Vault Edition owners get BlackCell and Battle Pass access by logging in during Season 1, and players who upgrade from the Battle Pass to BlackCell receive 1,100 COD Points back.
BlackCell owners also get seven Operator Skins for Blix, Oh-Ji, Velikan, Min-Hee, Luca and Dallas, seven Weapon Blueprints including the Kastov 762, Axion, KG-7 Vulcan, ISO Nightshade, CSG-35, Cronen Osprey and Mosin-Nagant, the Enigma Bunker multiplayer lobby, a BlackCell Mastery Camo track with six camos and the Spinal Verge mastery reward, extra Daily Challenges and the BlackCell clan tag. The Dog Food Finishing Move adds a dog companion that appears in the multiplayer lobby and arrives in the DMZ forward operating base at mid-season.
New weapons
Two new base weapons arrive free in the Battle Pass, both with the highest fire rate in their classes: the Cronen Osprey Assault Rifle at Tier 16 and the CSG-35 SMG. Expect weapon charms, reticles, emblems, Calling Cards, Double XP Tokens, blueprints, Finishing Moves, stickers, COD Points, equipment skins, loading screens, decals, sprays and DMZ Survival Kits across the track, with bonus rewards arriving mid-season.
DMZ benefits
BlackCell pays off in DMZ too. The forward operating base vendor carries an extra weapon and up to four pieces of equipment, a new daily reward arrives every 24 hours, and the base itself gets upgraded tent materials and visuals. Each BlackCell Weapon Blueprint also unlocks a Weapon Manual to craft that weapon in the DMZ Gunsmith, and the same applies when unlocking the season's free base weapons or buying a Store Bundle or the Vault Edition.
