Xbox's November Indie Selects: six picks to survive and thrive, led by Silver Pines and Graveyard Keeper 2

The ID@Xbox team has revealed November's Indie Selects, six standout indies built around surviving the strange, the spooky and the downright deadly — and the team hints a first-ever December Selects is coming next month.

Leading the list is Silver Pines, a survival horror detective story from Team17 that borrows Silent Hill's map annotations, Gears of War's active reload and a photo system for pinning clues to your map across a 15-hour, rotoscoped 2D world. Graveyard Keeper 2 keeps the Halloween spirit going with a dark medieval RPG where the town has been overrun by zombies, Donkey returns, and crafting, farming and automation slowly bring order to the chaos.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 brings retro-inspired FPS carnage back, this time with two playable heroes — returning Ultramarine Malum Caedo and Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath — across a branching campaign. Colorbound is the gentlest pick of the six: a pastel puzzle-platformer where Anku, a young Aymara boy, collects colours to reshape the world and reunite his late grandfather's band. Ratatan mixes rhythm commands with roguelike side-scrolling action, while Tenebris Somnia blends old-school 2D adventure with survival horror and live-action cutscenes in the spirit of 1970s giallo cinema.

The six are Silver Pines ($24.99), Graveyard Keeper 2 ($24.99), Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 ($24.99), Colorbound ($14.99), Ratatan ($34.99) and Tenebris Somnia ($24.99). The full collection lives in the Indie Selects hub in the Xbox Store and on Xbox.com.
