The next Elder Scrolls has a name. Bethesda has revealed The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel in an official teaser, confirming the title fans have waited years to hear.

The teaser is narrated by Yazar, described as Moth Priest to High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell, speaking in the year 4E 206. "The scroll offered only a shimmer, a veil thinly lifted to my eyes," Yazar says. "A future lost. A victory undone. Sands of time scattered by fate."

The video closes with the line: "Your next journey to Tamriel will be in The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel." The Hammerfell setting and the 4E 206 date place the game in the home of the Redguards, centuries after the events of Skyrim.

No release date or platforms were announced in the reveal. Bethesda points fans to elderscrolls.com and its social channels for more.
