Diablo turns 30, and Diablo II: Resurrected is marking it with Legacy of Terror, a six-day event running November 13 to 19 that stacks the game with bonuses ahead of the Season 16 Ladder. It is open to Ladder and Non-Ladder players alike.
The headline draw is the Diablo Clone: during the event it is guaranteed to appear once every six hours on Hell difficulty, replacing a Super Unique as it does now. After beating Baal on a difficulty, every zone in that difficulty becomes Terrorized at the same time, and the Cow Portal in the Rogue Encampment stays open at will, with no trip to Tristram needed. Players who would rather not have every zone Terrorized can switch it off from the Game Creation menu without losing the rest of the event.
The rewards run across the whole event: 100% Magic Find and a 15% discount at all vendors, including the Gambler, at every difficulty, plus a rare chance for slain monsters to come back as Hell Bovine Minions.
The event starts at 5 p.m. PST on November 13 and ends at 5 p.m. PST on November 19.
